Read this while I was in a bit of a reading slump so it took a while to get its grips on me. I really enjoyed it!

*Phew. What a roller coaster of a book. The twists and turns had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. Despite all that, there were so many tender and funny moments. I found myself loving and rooting for so many characters. I'm so scared to read the succeeding books because oh boy that cliffhanger in the end. If anything happens to my girl Niamh, I'm gonna flipping riot!!

Despite enjoying every second of this book, there are things that I just can't get behind. For starters, I didn't like how Niamh and Leonie were keeping Elle's husband's affair from her till the end. It doesn't matter how noble they think their intentions were, that's just something friends don't do. Last thing I wasn't a fan of was how Snow turned out in the end. It felt like she had a good turning point but unfortunately, it seemed like the apple didn't fall far from the tree and both her and her mom are just incapable of seeing they're ever wrong.

As scared as I am, I still can't wait to read the second book and the third book needs to come here sooner.
