It is refreshing to read a biography that covers the accomplishments of a person, as well as the unflattering side of a personality. Isaacson made no attempt to hide the bristling, angry, and often times embarrassing side of Jobs' ego. It was a great read that covered all aspects of his life.
Buena lectura!

Decent biography, it was very long and in depth. Didn’t reveal a ton of new information.
Steve Jobs passed away in 2011. We all know this. So of course at the end of his biography, he passes away. I knew this going in. Yet I couldn't help but get choked up as the book approached 2011. I didn't want it to be over. I loved every second of learning about his life. He was a flawed person, sure, but I swear to God I could feel his soul with these words. Sharp tongued, rebellious, explosive, insightful, and above all else... astounding. Thank you Steve, you really did "make a dent in the universe."

Wow, I had no idea how unique and unfeeling Steve Jobs could be. I knew he was brilliant, creative and driven but I had no idea he was such a hard man to work for. The only really surprising piece was he obsession with food and what he considered "healthy eating". It is sad to think that if he had just heeded his doctors initial advice regarding surgery to remove the tumor on his pancreas, there is a chance he might still be with us today. This must have been a difficult book to write and Isaacson did a very good job of not sugarcoating his life.
Let's just say Jobs was demanding and how anyone worked for him longer than a week is a surprise. But, still can't argue with the great products.
One of the most interesting biographies I've read. Walter Isaacson has covered Steve Jobs' story so well. Regardless of whether you're a fan of Apple products or not, this is a book worth investing time in.
