Holy moly!! I could not put this book down no matter how hard I tried. I’ve never been into reverse harem but I’m so happy I gave it a chance, especially in discovering this series. And where can I find a Max Steele?
Second read: STILL JUST AS GOOD THE SECOND TIME READING IT! Sigh that kitchen scene. WOWZA. Tate James is also the queen of cliffhangers.
Third re-read: Okay this is probably the last time I read this because it’s lost it’s appeal to me. 🤣
Reread July 2025: LOLOL yes I’m back but because I wanted to listen to it as audiobook. This one felt less exciting than the first, even though so much chaos happens. Too much going on, love Steele and Archer but yeah, definitely darker tones so read TW before. Also the narrator for MK you could tell had to come back and record a word or two over again lol.

If I’m getting double dicked and the guys reach across to high five each other, I’m punching them in the throat.
(Also still can’t give this one a fair rating until I know the whole story. If the conclusion to the mystery sucks ass I’m going to be pissed because now I’m invested.)

Liar (Madison Kate #2) by: Tate James
I don't usually gravitate towards danger, yet something inside encouraged me to give Liar a try. James pushes emotions to the limit. Unpredictable turns into hard to put down. From maybe to absolutely, Tate James knows how to deliver breathless.View all my reviews
