I loved this series as a kid, and I still have the physical books, so of course I’ve decided to reread them! Especially because I don’t really remember the plot of each book, so it’ll be like reading it for the first time all over again.

Yes, it’s super old-fashioned, and the writing style is still a bit strange to me. It’s a little different from what I’m used to, but I still love this series. With. A. Passion.

Fun quick read that takes me back to when I was a preteen or teenager completely enjoying the Trixie Belden series. This is the third in the series, but the first that properly introduces Trixie's two older brothers Brian and Mart. Read as an adult, the mystery is fairly obvious but it's still fun to see the little group coming together and interacting

Maybe it was timing, maybe it was because there are even more characters involved in this mystery, and I'm getting to know them better the more I read, but this was my favorite Trixie Belden book yet. I liked the subplot of the kids starting/working on their clubhouse, and loved all of the descriptions of daily activity. Even though the mystery was a little weak in this one, and easily solvable, I liked the ups and downs of finding hiding places for the diamond, and second-guessing all of their leads. Looking forward to the next audiobook.

Trixie once again stumbles on a mystery (well, her brother Bobby does the actual stumbling). One of the better ones.
