Idk man I think it’s kind of jacked that Tessa and Will are going to let Jem go on thinking Tessa is 100% devoted to him when she clearly is in love with Will too.

Overall though, another good read. The plot is interesting and still leaves enough to make you keep reading without being too much.

Gonna be honest at first i was reluctant to give this trilogy a chance but the mortal instruments series is amazing so i gave it a shot. First book was good but ended in sucha a suspense yet dark place i was jnsure wen to start the second book. Eventually i blindly jumped into it and at first was ready to close it. But after the plot set up was over i was back to the wonderfull rollar coaster that cassandra clare loves to put me on when im in her world!!! This book almost gave me the best heart attack of life and i almost died wen i found out that the last book comes out all the way in november!!!!! I cant wait that long i need my emotional rollar coasterr ;'''')

At first I didn't like this book but then it got a little better. It was okay. The ending was a shock.

This books starts fairly soon after the last one ended. Unlike the other book it went right into the story and was not slow in the beginning. The story progresses nicely and just keeps getting better. A lot of things will be explained in this one what we didn’t know from the last book.
It has some pretty heartbreaking parts, but also some humor and ‘make you feel good ‘moments as well as betrayal. It is a rollercoaster ride all the way through the book, with many twists and some to "me" shocking events/moments.
The love triangle between Tessa, Will and Jem continues to grow but Tessa kind of makes a choice at the end ;) I wont tell which one tho and I’m sure it can change in the last book.
We learn more about each of the Charters .We get to know why Will is the way he is and acts the way he acts towards everyone. Tessa is still trying to figure out what she is. And she makes some shocking discoveries. Jem, is still fighting his “illness” but is mainly concerned for Tessa and not himself. Some major things are happening with Jessie.
We get to know Sophie better, and I have to say I really, really like her. Some new or semi knew characters also come into play: The Lightwoods, especially the brothers: Gideon and Gabriel. Well there were mentioned in the first book but in this one we get to know more about them. I loved the development between Charlotte and Henry. Magnus Bane turns out to be a great character to. I hope we get to know even more of him.
This was a truly amazing book. I loved it even more than the first one and can’t wait to find out how it all will end.

Some of my favorite quotes:

“So you are suggesting we take a train up to York, meet a ninety-year-old man, leap on him, and yank out his hair? I’m sure the Clave will be ecstatic” ~Will

“ If I was harsh with yoy, it was because I cannot bear to see you treat yourself as if you are worth nothing. Whatever part you might act to the contrary, I see you as you really are, my blood brother. Not just better than you pretend to be, but better than most people could hope to be. You are worth everything, Will” ~ Jem to Will

This book throws the plot aside for some truly intense character drama and romance. (Don’t we love that?) The angst is off the charts, beautifully written and guaranteed to leave you feeling some sort of way.
James Carstairs? Absolute perfection. I'd move mountains for him!
