Notes for my own reference:

I liked Donut Fall in Love and, despite not usually enjoying enemies-to-lovers (this is why I didn’t rate it), thought I’d give this a try. I was hoping that since it’s RomCom - it would be more like frenemies or just a slight mismatch, but these two vehemently dislike each other. Frankly, I don’t like them either.

Narrators:
While I'd be willing to listen to Eunice Wong again - the biggest reason I’m stopping is that James Sie's narration isn’t working for me. It’s entirely possible his performance is why I haven’t been able to connect with the MCs. I definitely can’t handle another 8 hours.

I may pick it up to read at some point…

Cute read. I liked the idea of it more than the execution. Mel sounds like some one I’d really like but something just didn’t quite hit. He was lovely and really good for Vivian, but I think it was his sense of humor. Listening to the stand up comedy with the audio book was a bit tedious.

Plain Jane vibes when it comes to the writing itself; it’s not winning any flash awards and yet is perfectly serviceable on it’s own. I just wish I was less apathetic about it all.
