I finished this book a couple of days ago and it has taken me awhile to decide what I want to say about it. Nothing from my mouth could do it justice. I loved this book. I read the last 200 pages in one day. I just read and read and read all day long.
I loved it because it was real. Yes, I know its about time travelling, but the emotions and the language made it come alive. The book was setup in daily segments that added to the sense of truth. It was like following these extraordinary characters around and experiencing the story first hand. It let you get inside their heads.
What an amazing love story, I laughed, I cried, and in the end, I was sad that it was over.

Not necessarily a happy story. I think I may have liked the mythology of time traveling best. The ending felt a little abrupt to me and focused too much on the husband and not on those left behind. I would be interested to read more about Alba's life if the author ever returned to this world.

Me he encontrado con ciertas cosas cuestionables que no aparecen en la serie y me alegro porque no deberían estar. Por lo demás básicamente la historia que ya esperaba encontrar.

I cried all I have to say is I cried. This is a great Sci-fi. It both makes you uncomfortable and makes you think about destiny. I am scared if I write anything about what happens in the book I will spoil some part. A great adult read! Ages Adult

I kept waiting for the book to be as good as everyone says it is and it never got there. The "romance" is ethically confusing and maybe 20 years ago it was considered a romance. But now it feels like sexual coercion through time.

At times the prose was truly beautiful and so was the love story. It was a cool idea and quite well executed. However Henry and Clare both annoyed me so much, Henry was a bad and selfish person and Clare just put up with it. And the scenes where she was a kid and he an adult (he even referenced Humbert Humbert…) made me uncomfortable. And Gomez also really annoyed me like ok cheat on your wife but then Henry said he’s a great guy and I was supposed to like him? No…. And the ending could have been so much more emotional. But the quotes and poems at each chapter were really fitting I think. Idk man it’s kind of polarising
This was a lovely read, although the timeline can be a little bit confusing. What I like about it was that it was a little bit different.
