This was a super cute comic that I read online. I really like Daisy, aka Snarlbear. She's so immediately invested in this new world and takes to being a hero for hire with gusto! Flint may be an opportunist, but he cares a lot, and even Narcy becomes a better person, er, unicorn through their adventures.

WOW. Okay. This turned out much, much better than I expected.

I really loved the colours. I'm not one for bright and flashy neon to decorate my screen, but shit man, I loved the way the artist used colours on this one.

And the characters! They were really complex- even better than some of the books I've actually read. They weren't black or white. They were in a really muddy, morally grey area that makes readers love and hate them at the same time. I think Flint is probably my favourite.

All in all, 3.9/5.

I'd started reading this when it was originally posted online as a webcomic, but purchased the books when the option became available. I love the use of colors and subversive themes to what's usually associated with bright happy colors. I also really like the characters; none of our protagonists are free from vice. It fits well within the context of the series, but as a fair warning to readers who are squimish, there is a fair about of body horror.
