This book started off kinda slow, I disliked the effort that Draven put into making me dislike Silhara, because I personally don't find being cruel sexy. However with the time to the book got better and I really grew to like Martise. I wouldn't say this was my favorite book ever but it was a good read and I would recommend it to someone looking for a creative story to follow.

This was way better than I thought it was going to be! Such a good love story
The writing style of this felt strangely misleading. all the vocabulary used suggested that this was supposed to be an epic fantasy novel, but the actual content was far more of a romance and lacked the worldbuilding you would expect. The romance aspect also felt a bit rushed - they kissed once and immediately decided they were in love. Still a fairly enjoyable, if odd, read.
