The story was fine. But the art was outstanding.

Brilliant artwork, which makes the book, because the story is fairly conventional.

Stokoe's art is so good you don't need the dialogue. It's a shame the plot is so boilerplate though.

I adore James Stokoe’s artwork and seeing it applied to one of my favorite franchises is the best!

I'm a big fan of the alien tetralogy (I even like resurrection) so I was looking forward to read this book. And it's great. Nothing groundbreaking, but a really well done comic with aliens in it. Also surprisingly gory, so it's not for everyone, but I think most people won't have any problems with it.
7-8/10.

A perfect match of art and story - gave me chills in all the right ways. If your looking to clean your palate from some of the recent drek that Ridley Scott has been putting out then you have found a holy grail of ancient alien origin. Reminded me of the tone and suspense I loved from the first film and that is high praise.

Whoa, the art in this was SO COOL! Like reading a manga Aliens story. However, I found it difficult at times to tell certain characters apart. Enjoyable quick read though!

This is a fun miniseries. It has all the stuff you would want from an Aliens book. It reads pretty quickly because there isn't a lot of dialogue or exposition. I found myself slowing down to take in the art though. The art helps create tension at some key moments and ties things together at the end. I had been interested in reading this for a while. Glad I had the opportunity to check it out.

Very disappointed with this. The storyline is not great or even original. The artwork is terrible: in some frames the Xenos look like the Isz from The Maxx and the whole thing looks like it was drawn by a teenager. Really could not recommend this to anybody.

It's filled with lovingly detailed space ships and xenobiology, and yet, it feels exactly like every single other Alien story ever told. A remarkable disappointment after reading accolades.
