This is the first of JP Uvalle's books that I have read, and I am so glad I did! I really enjoyed this novella and can't wait to read more from this author.
One Last Ride tells the story of Lola and Demetri who are complete strangers until the fateful night that they witness a murder by non other than, mafia boss, Los Rey. They have to go on the run so as not to meet the same ends, and wind up forming a close bond with each other. While they help each other come to terms with their pasts, we get to see a glimpse of how they ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
This novella is packed full of action, lust, and longing. The climax is fantastic and has you sitting on the edge of your seat. If you haven't read any of JP's work, then you're missing out!
