The writing was fine enough but the plot was giving me whiplash. It got to the point that the characters were going to a new location almost every chapter for any little reason and without any sort of consequences or hindrances. And by halfway through the book, we had gone so many places and met so many new characters that I didn’t even remember why we were doing the things we were doing.

Coming to terms with her past is somewhat painful and she decides to eradicate all of her memories related to the Black Sun and become normal well as normal as droid can ever become. If this is one of the "best" Star Wars EU books, I won't be revisiting. Unbelievable people rate this 5 stars. So basically Xizor is a date rapist who tries to drug women to have sex with them. Got it. Pretty bad book full of rehashed SW tropes and terrible writing.

It was a good explanation of what happens between the Empire and Jedi movies, but I didn't relate to it as well as I wanted to, but I don't know why.
