I liked the premise of the book, but it never quite came to anything

I thought the ending was a little abrupt, would have liked to know what happened after the cure. I found the way the animals spoke to be very incomprehensible- that might have been the point but just led to the fluency of my reading being interrupted all the time

It was in interesting premise but the execution fell flat for me. I found the narration wasn’t very coherent, I would find myself flipping back and forth between pages wondering if I missed something because transitions were so abrupt.
