Honestly, I wouldn't call this a novella because it is ABSOLUTELY necessary to read this book before reading Bloodwitch. Without it, Bloodwitch would be SO confusing. So, although it doesn't concern any of the main characters, you cannot choose not to read it.

I loved learning about Ryber and the Sighwitches. This was a great book though some things continue to be left unanswered.

Such a gorgeous and unique addition to the Witchlands. I honestly want 5000 Witchlands books in this format now (and just 5000 Witchlands books in general to be honest). I loved how much this added to the worldbuilding of the series and I can't wait to see how many of the mysteries of this novella play out in the main series.

(4.5 Stars) I didn't want to read this one because I didn't care about Ryber as much, and I think that was only because I really don't like Ryber as a name lol, but I loved every second of this book as much as the other two. Definitely read before moving onto Bloodwitch!
