amazing! i went into the book thinking it would be a short enemies to lovers story, and came out with not only that but a heartbreaking and beautiful story about two characters learning how to move through their trauma and finding comfort in each other. already want to reread it and can’t wait for other books that amanda woody will write!

I knew this was going to be a 5 star read from the jump. I loved it so much!!! My beautiful bisexual babies with the world on their shoulders!!! They’re enemies, they’re lovers, they’re fake dating, they’re comforting each other and figuring out the world together! I ate it all up. I thought the tough topics were handled with care and I fell in love with these boys and their stories.

Jonah broke my heart, Dylan was such a well-written character. I loved how they both slowly realized not only their feelings but also that they had people who were just there for them, no questions asked.
Wonderfully written enemies-to-lovers storyline, both heartbreaking and hopeful. (Also, Dylan was so caring and Jonah deserves all the hugs and naps.)

This was a cute YA with characters that felt fleshed out and real. My only criticism comes from the end, which felt like it just kept going and going when it could have ended when the characters got back together. The sex-focused ending did not feel necessary. I also don't love when teenagers confess their love so quickly, it just frustrates me as an adult.
