Good but not great. Some interesting plot developments. Death of one of the major villains was a bit anticlimactic. I'd have had the twins both facing him, or just Jacen. Good story line with old Jedi Vergere.

This book was a good read. It was reasonably well written. The plot line in this book is not horribly interesting, but there was one dogfight that I thought was highly interesting for it's unusual medium. The storyline of this book is not as interesting as some others, but is definitely a solid piece.

This is a hefty entry into The New Jedi Order (as well as to the Legends EU; most of them tap out at under 400 pages), and I was afraid that I was going to get bored with it, but Williams kept things moving. It's getting harder to separate the individual books out of the larger story arc, but I'm still liking what TNJO is doing.

My biggest complaint is that Matthew Stover really captured the character of Vergere, and Williams doesn't get her in quite the same way.

Oh my God...

OH MY GOD!!!!

ALL THE THINGS! I... just so much happened in this book. I can't say anything without saying spoilers so I won't but oh my GOD, it was such a good book. Was very meh at the beginning but by the end... just holy crap on a cracker, I just... all the things.
