This was one of the most boring books I've ever read.
Seriously 507 pages of nothing? No wonder I don't read
giant ass books.

I thought the story was good, loved the beginning, then it fell apart.
It took almost 300 pages to get to the good stuff and even that was kind of
predictable. I loved the use of "The legend of sleepy hollow" but this book
was a big bore for me. The romance was okay, but the story just shot the romance
in the ass. I wouldn't recommend it if you love FAST PACED books, this will
just piss you off. I'm not trying to bash it because it still was a decent story
but the book just flopped. Big time.

Review is also featured on my blog: The Book Brats

I don't know were this book would land on my rating scale. I liked it but I didn't like it. On good reads I rated it two stars but two stars on here mean: "Ehhh. I have read better and this didn't really keep me occupied."

The book was well written and had a lot of potential but the only fantasy aspect was in the last 15 pages of the book! So I read about 498 pages of the novel were her dedicated to her obsessing over Caspian.

In the beginning when she is falling into a depression after her best friend, Kristin's, death I felt bad for her. I don't know what if I would do if I lost a good friend. But she survived. With some help.

I am going to keep this review short cause I don't have much to say for the book. I am going to read the sequel but I really hope it is moves faster.

I adored this series as a teenager, but rereading it today, Abbey was kind of infuriating, and Caspian wasn’t really likable, at all. Despite that, I still enjoyed the book, and I am hopeful for the next two books. Even though Abbey annoys me with every third thing she does (or something around that), I still feel for her, and I want her to be happy. I personally think Nicholas and Katie are one of the best parts of this book, they were fascinating to me.

The dark love story you can't wait to read is by a mystical author Jessica Verday. Verdy changed Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow into the dark ,mystical romance you can't forget.

Abbey's lived in Sleepy Hallow all her life. It's a small town, but she loves it especially because her best friend lived there too.Kristen is missing, and rumors are flying. Abbey tries to mourn her friend, but she can't believe that she's dead. Abbey is a very interesting character to come across. At first I thought she was a girl next door type but she soon turned out to be a very strong character, tough enough to overcome many thinks that are thrown at her. Then comes Caspian when Abbey needs someone the most. Caspian is different then other boys, Abbey has met before but she can't put her finger on it. I loved Caspian character because he was the very unoriginally, Gorgeous,Dark,Mysterious guy that Abbey can't resist. When I was reading this book at first I was like , Yeah I know what will happen , nope, I was was like WTH!!!! That's one of the reason I loved this book. I'm not even coming close to telling what happens at the ending because, you will have to read it...I'm sorry LoL.

Jessica Verday writing was darkly good about this twisted love story that I recommend that won't disappoint.

I liked this book but it frustrated me because I felt like it was a 500 page book that could have been 200. I liked the story but it just ended with a cliffhanger and now I have to wait for the next one...I hate that.

What a spectacular book! I've not had these kinda feelings since reading The Twilight series. I've literally not wanted to put it down. I've devoured it. So excited the saga continues on with two more books. Their is just something about YA novels that move me in such a way that is intoxicatingly beautiful.

I give it 5/5 with pride.
This book, this story is like no other that I've read before. No words can describe it fairly. The way the story progressed, how Abbey went through all this, the death of her best friend, her love for Caspian, the ghost. It's my first time reading this kind of books and I enjoyed it a lot!
The way the story progressed was different from other reads I've had, different from Twilight and The Vampire Diaries.
I'll never forget this book and I'll be definitely reading more like it =).
Now time to read The Haunted :D.

I can't wait to read the next book in the ghost story. Abbey feels like a very real girl in her emotions and actions.

This entire book felt like a prologue. Boring.
