I think this book is perfect if you want not only beautiful pictures of gemstones and crystals, but you also want to know what to use it for, a little history on how it has been used in the past and even at what vibration it resonates at. Very helpful guide.

A good book to start learning about crystals. Each crystal has it’s chapter, and is described in a very simple way, but still providing essential information. I would recommend this book for beginners only, there are a lot of other books capturing needed information in more depth.

I liked this one a lot. It goes into much greater depth than her encyclopedia. If you want a lot of info on certain crystals this is a good one. I checked it out from the library a few times already; it's a great reference.

i really like this one but i have to give it 3 stars because i prefer the crystal bible over this one. there's plenty of information in this book so its still worth reading :)
Just a little bit too new age for me. I did like the pictures and the histories of some of the stones. Some stones were trademarked; not interested in those at all.
