Hmmm... 3.5 stars
Well for 3/4th of the book I was irritated. The protagonist Sarah seemed to be too clingy and desperate to hold on a week of prefect romance with a stranger. She has demons in her closet, while he...he is absent. Through it all she tries telling the audience and Eddie, the perfect stranger about those demons all the while chasing this elusive man. Yawn..
But then somewhere in the last 80 odd pages things become interesting...real interesting... I wont give anything away but if you can suffer through the first 150 odd pages of mooning and wistful swooning. I promise you it would be worth it.

As a seasoned domestic thriller reader, very few things still surprise me and I must say I was surprised with this one. The ending was predictable and boring but the part right before it... yup...they were worth the read.

Although the premise is obviously far fetched, I think the idea of meeting someone and immediately feeling a deep, emotional connection to them is something we all have interest in. I really enjoyed this book and basically breezed through it in 24 hours. Easy, quick, fun read.

Just no. I couldn’t finish it because I just couldn’t understand why someone (who is still technically married, by the way) would say they are in love after seven days! Seven days and we don’t get any real connection with those seven days apart from flashbacks.

Look the fact that she’s chasing after him is not the real issue but why is she convinced something is wrong because he hasn’t called her back? Also someone discipline that child. His mum says no, but good ol’ girl is the enabler of the highest order and just shuts up while this kid just does what he wants...seriously?

The immaturity. I didn’t get far. I spoiled it for myself on purpose to find out what happens and I didn’t care.

I didn’t like being tricked by the plot twists, but overall I did enjoy the story, even though it was very nerve-wracking. Definitely kept things interesting.

this book was hard to judge because it was so boring in some parts but in others it was so captivating and i couldn't quite figure out what to do. in the end, i finished the book and i am glad to say that i did because the ending was sweet and it was a good close, but i wish i had cared more about the book than i did. i didn't fall in love with the characters enough to give it a solid 4, so instead it was a 3.5 star rating. if someone asks though, i would recommend this book. it was a good mystery book with some romance in it and it was fun trying to guess the ending, although i didn't get it right at all.
