My own words would not do this book justice, but I'll try anyway. it's absolutely heartbreaking and fascinating and funny and raw and sad yet full of hope anyway.

And everyone should read it. Whether they've read Oranges or not, or don't know Winterson at all, they should read this.

Loved this. I read oranges at GCSE, and remember loving that. Coming back 20 years later and reading this with the faint memory of oranges was great. I love the way Jeanette writes, she really paints a picture with a few words.
