this book, however, is what i imagine whenever someone starts talking to me. it feels casual and lighthearted but then takes a turn to become a serious radical conversation. i love it!
there are chapters that are a bit harder to read than others but that's the reality of life and i love how lindy writes it as it is. and while we're on the subject, can i just say that while i've been reading a lot of radical feminist books lately, this one really hit the nail of how depressing and dark being a woman can be (despite the memoir being dubbed as lighthearted). so 4/5 !
