This book was so good and it broke my heart. I really liked that the story was written mostly in conversation. The addition of Starbucks might have been my favorite part.

There isn’t a lot to be said about a short story only 26 pages long without giving away too much.

Though if you like a dose of fantasy and are a coffee drinker who enjoys a twist then this novella by Rainbow Rowell is up your alley. Better yet it's part of a collection of short stories by popular authors you can dive into and add to your reading goal.

I didn't expect to read this as quickly as I did. I knew it would be a short read but I breezed through it and was left desiring more. I'm hoping when I get around to reading the others there be a hint but I'm also not going to hold my breath either.

Simply know you'll be hooked and wondering how you were able to be satisfied yet need there to be a whole book.

Another sad short story. It broke my heart for Adam and the bridge troll to create such a connection and not get to be together. The writing was beautiful and it was just a really enjoyable short read.

There’s something about fairytales that stirs the nostalgia of my childhood.

Let me just say, that the voices of Adam and the troll are hilariously well done, and just one more reason I love this author.

Starbucks on every corner - waste of money - totally agree. The social commentary on global warming was a bit heavy handed, but entertaining, nonetheless.

This was good, though admittedly a little short on relevant expository information (I still do not 100% understand the layout of this world, there are wizards AND starbucks? Why can't I live here??) but I was caught of guard by the ending, which was, dare I say it

Short but bittersweet. I would have loved more backstory, but then, that’s almost always true with short stories.

This was kinda sweet but felt like a Starbucks ad.

I listened to the audio version of this story. I liked it. The characters were well developed and I found them to be very human, even the troll.
