Ok so the plot twist is the dad who we see die randomnly in the middle of the book is now a ghost and he's haunting the house. Specifically the basement where the son boy is now sleeping. The son boy wants to know what this spooky monster is haunting him, so he snoops through his mothers belongings and finds a box full of polaroid photos. They show his mother's father commiting war crimes in Vietnam, and I assume this is what he was dishonorably discharged for? Anyways he confronts his mother and it turns out the son boy is a product of csa incest. His grandfather is his bio father. There's victim blaming by her mother, son boy's grandmother. No justice is found for her or her son. The ghost attacks them and the son boy is injured then they both escape. They sell the house and woops! The dad ghost is still haunting. A furniture mover finds the box of polaroids and then the ghost dad attacks. The End.
