Very short. It leaves a lot to be desired in regard to plot development, but it’s entertaining and the perfect shade of dark.

Honestly I really enjoyed it! It was fun and to the point! Smut scenes I loved of course. Why choose? Yes, please. The reason why I didn't give it a higher rating was the lack of development all around. Other than that, it was an entertaining dark retelling of Peter Pan, Wendy and The Lost Boys. Intrigued by what the rest of the series will bring because the cliffhanger got me.

I was gifted this book and I absolutely loved it! I am not a big RH/Why Choose reader. But, I found that the FMC, Winnie, gave me what was personally necessary, for me, to believe in the multiple relationships. I was really impressed with the creative route that Nikki took with her re-imagination of Neverland and all the characters I know from childhood!

Winnie especially, brought this different element to the story. I enjoyed that she was comfortable with her body’s needs/wants and she was unashamed of her lustful nature. I feel that her dialogue helped the intimate scenes flow smoothly between the Lost Boys. Also, the Lost Boys…I don’t even know where to start without giving away too many spoilers. I will just say that I was not prepared for how each was created and how intriguing they all were! This book had me chasing the pages because I just wanted to keep learning more of this New Neverland through Nikki’s eyes.

I felt this book delivered on everything it promised. It was a fun and sexy read…and keep in mind it does leave off on a cliffhanger. Which for me, I actually don’t mind cliffhangers. I can’t wait to pick up Book 2 and get more answers. It’s just a good time all around and I found it an extremely refreshing read.

The only thing that isn't giving this one 5 stars is that it was so short. I wanted something LONGER. I do like this retelling because it's more violent than the other re-tellings of Peter Pan that I've read. I'm not sure I'll be reading any of the sequels, however, with my TBR being as long as it is. We'll see.
