I actually thought this book wasn’t bad. It was still entertaining, but I feel like it needed more suspense. I did love how the author went a little slower in introducing the new A & making them question if this A is real or not, or whether it could be Ian. I feel like some people might believe she went a little slow with this plot but I thought it was smart. Moreover, this is not the most entertaining of the series, but I feel like it’ll get better as soon as we dive deeper into this new A.

I was impressed by how Shepard continued the story after A was revealed in the last book. Sure, it may seem like the easy way out to simply have another mysterious person posing as A, but I think it worked. The Ian storyline was compelling as well, with his innocence being obvious to the reader, though nobody buy his parents believe him in the story. I look forward to finding out Alison's real killer in a future book.

I think this one was the worst out of the 8 books. It was actually still a good book but I would rate it 2.5 stars if I could because I just felt Sara Shephard was dragging it on and it would have worked for the next 3 books if this book had been better.

I enjoyed it but just not as much as the others. I felt this one dragged and wasn't as exciting as the previous four. I really did like the ending, though; I can't wait to get to reading the next book!
