I gave Steeped to Death by Gretchen Rue 4 stars.

This is the first book in the Witches' Brew Mystery-series and it was a really good debut.
I have read a lot of cozies and my favorites usually revolve around tea and books. This one fits both those categories, so I really enjoyed this read.

New to me was the magical aspect. I have almost never read any magical cozy, but it made this book even better. I am looking forward to learn more about the magic and the magical teas in the upcoming books.

I would give this book 5 stars if the mystery had gotten me more hooked. I feel like the lack of characters in this book made it easy to guess who the bad guy was.

I am really looking forward to the next book in the series and highly recommend this debut cozy mystery.
