If it wasn’t sexually violent and taboo it could have been a much better book. I wish Jake had been a family friend at the very least.
The mmc's fetishes borderline pedophilia. The fmc dresses like a little girl with pigtails and ribbons in her hair. Mmc's call her "little princess". Gross.
Girl, this book made me wildly uncomfortable like the entire time but I enjoyed it? Idk? Like I had to push down and ignore alot that bothered me in this book morally.
But once I pushed realllllly far down and read the love story was ? Good? maybe? idk? it was weird for sure.
Honestly, I went into this blind ash and I just suggest not doing that atleast.
Read it though, if you’re on the boarder just do it. If only for the internal screaming and the awkward this book makes you feel.
Once you break it down and your like ok it’s not actually blood you’ll be just as confused as me.
I had to close this book and legit walk away multiple times.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book with all the other reviews. I understand how people didn’t like and there are parts where it is intense however you have to realize that is a fully fictional story with fictional characters meant for entertainment value. If you don’t like it don’t read it.
