Well this was disappointing!!
I really enjoyed first book and thought this is going to be even better then that one because of Mack.
Him and boys book club are best part of book, but main problem is Liv.
Enemies to lovers is popular trope but there has to be reason for "enemies" part, enemies for enemies sake falls flat just like chemistry and romance between them.
Also this book is missing " book reading" aspects that first one had, still I'm interested in Noah's book.

This was the Spring book for Romanceopoly 2020.

Pack: Sun
Square: Spring
Challenge: Read a book where it: Has a green or yellow cover; Has flowers on the cover; Has the word 'Spring' in the title; Where the hero heroine is a gardener or farmer; Or all of/any combination/any one of the above.

Is it possible to love a sequel more than the original? That's how I feel about this book. I fell in love with Mack during The Bromance Book Club, but I was pretty neutral about Liv. However, Adams was able to make me love Liv within the first two chapters. I totally love the dynamics between both Mack and Liv. I want to read more stories with them. Highly recommend this book.

I liked this one even better than the first! It deals with some really heavy and triggering topics though, but I think it was well handled.

Really enjoyed this one! There were parts that had me laughing out loud, which is rare for me. According to my kids, I don’t have a sense of humor, take that as you may.

Ok so I ACTUALLY liked this book more than the first one but I don’t know………This book follows Liv (not Liz as I kept calling her) who gets fired from her pastry chef job but her boss is a total perv/creep/abuser so she wants to go after him. Enter Braden-fucking-Mack. He is the playboy who is in love with love but has never found it. I love him. The story was CUTE. I loved their romance. Mack is the best. Liv is ok but was redeemed a bit from the first book. I just don’t know though. I hated the end conflict (as I do) and the actual happy ending felt eh. But I think I would recommend? Idk
