I am literally obsessed with this series. I started the audiobook casually while cleaning my kitchen and became hooked within 2 minutes, no exaggeration.
The writing is an addicting mix of fantasy and new adult. The characters all feel real and separate and her relationships feel organic and individual which doesn’t happen often for RH to me.
The plot and mystery of this series is great. This is a series I will probably revisit multiple times.

I enjoyed this book and will continue with the series. The characters are interesting and the plot intriguing. J.Bree gives you just enough to keep reading and wanting more.

Powers, mysterious kidnappings, Bonds, RH, secrets and more. This has all the trappings for a great saga.

The only small thing, was the grammar and and some of the filling scenes out. On a personal level I felt there was more internal dialogue that actual verbal interaction. Though this doesn’t take away from you starting to fall for these characters.

There is a lot, like a lot a lot going on. So the internal dialogue serves its purpose.

At first I didn’t think I was going to like this book because of the MC but as I learned more about her she grew on me. At the halfway point I couldn’t stop and wanted to finish it. The writing was aceptable, I just wished there were more descriptions, I can’t tell you what anyone looks like because they’re not described. There’s a scene where she goes to a Gala and we never know what kind of dress she wears or what color. I hope the world keeps developing, I’d like to know more about the resistance. I can’t wait to continue with the series and learn more about the world.
