I liked it. I kinda feel bad rating these books, knowing I'm not the target audience. But I liked it...3 solid stars. The story is solid (now that we're really getting into it..) I just get really annoyed by all the mid-level targeted writing. Maybe its considered good writing, especially for YA brains, to remind the read of what happened in previous books....but I just skip those paragraphs.

Now that I've almost read the rest of the series, I can say that this is where the series starts to get more intriguing. We're learning more about the really issues and the action is picking up. I liked learning about Exillium...jeeze the elf's social structure is messed up...but thats why we have Sophie! Sophie is a relatable character for all those tweens out there. I adore Keefe.
