I would've rated it lower if it weren't for the dark and very disturbing elements that I look for in books with the same genre as this book. it made me VERY disturbed from start to finish.

the ending was not what I expected and I find it very anticlimactic

Amazing! First TikTok recommended book and it ended up being completely my style of book. I would recommend looking up the trigger warnings before though because I found out I had a trigger I didn’t know I had. But all in all, it’s incredibly written!

I just can’t. When I finished this book, my heart was beating like mad. Read it in less than 24 hours! Would’ve never guessed the twist. I’ll be thinking about it for a long time.

Holy shit. I was scared the whole time like I was watching a horror movie. It was  tense and quick and DARK af. Some of the scenes were hard to read because they were so dark and graphic and painful. 
PS. Sorry Verity, I don’t buy it #teammanuscript
