I am amazed. This book was absolutely amazing. I cannot tell you how good this book was. The suspense and everything about it is enthralling. I consumed this book in one sitting and still left reeling over the ending.
Now that I don’t know who the real villain is, is so good. That plot twist was something I was not expecting and I am freaking out.

this book is completely fucked up, but brilliant at the same time.

reading this felt like i was being manipulated, too, because it makes you question the uncertainties. and it almost felt like i was actually the one who found the manuscript, and i'm trying to stop myself from reading more of it, but i couldn't. (never finished a book in hours)

to me, they are all villains. no one is innocent. so, yes, i believe the manuscript is the truth because it is very detailed, and the letter is just a cover-up. a pure manipulation towards jeremy. verity probably thinks that if everything don't go according to plan, writing a letter like that is her last resort.

i want to drop my theories why i think manuscript is the truth, but i won't go into details because you should dive into it blind. it's better that way, trust me.

Oh my gosh this book. I had no idea what to expect, and (no spoilers) but WOAH that ending surprised me! I read it in less than 24 hours because I couldn’t put it down. Spooky but not too much for me, truly insane!!!

Verity by Colleen Hoover
☀️☀️🌤️

▪️Dark, gruesome and truly disturbing content (serious trigger warnings necessary for graphic descriptions of child abuse, self harm, suicidal ideation, etc) shelved between repetitive sex scenes I wanted to mean more than they ultimately did
▪️ Concept and overall plot were interesting and it was a captivating, quick read
▪️CH is not a thriller author by trade and it shows - the twist was about 2 steps away from being good but it fell short of being satisfying for me
▪️Love me an ambiguous ending and this helped a little but as said above the making of a good thriller is in the twist which wasn't very ✨wow✨
▪️I wanted to love this, and in the hands of a more experienced genre writer it could have been great, but it was just okay

The suspense. The drama. The anxiety this book gave me, i cannot even put into words how absolutely shook I was reading this book. My heart was pounding, my hands were shaking, absolutely ate it up in less than a day. Highly recommend it!
