I'm marking this as spoilers so no one reads my review, it's just for me. Not sure if I'm the intended audience for this book. The audiobook was a little bit boring. Maybe I didn't like it that much because I don't like dogs so I'm just like not really understanding why they care so much LOL like I was really trying to get into it but just couldn't. I think the fact that Ash has synesthesia is super cool I really appreciate the drawings throughout the book that was fun. The dialogue in the book didn't feel realistic. 13-year-olds in my experience don't talk like that. I can definitely see the thought process though for them, that's usually how a 13 year old thinks for sure, but the dialogue itself felt a tad unrealistic. Book was kinda boring, but I'm here for the self love journey.
