I loved the pictures, but I felt like the wording was awkward at times.

I read this at the bookstore, smiled, put it back on the shelf, and walked away. It wasn't too long before I was back at the shelf to get the book and take it home with me. It's so sweet and the illustrations are so beautiful. Everything about this embodies a child's imagination. I don't remember ever having an imaginary friend, but this makes me want one now as an adult.

So fucking cute.  I loved the unconventionality of it all.

I kept thinking of Doctor Who's Adipose creatures while reading this, which is just fine, those things were disturbingly adorable.

I love the art style of this book. I've never seen it before in a picture book; it reminds me quite a lot of the art in "The Blue Umbrella" and "Paperman" by Pixar. The story is just as charming.

Definitely a must-have for anyone developing their child's library!

Such a sweet story about an imaginary friend waiting to be thought up by his "person". Short enough to try at family storytime but best with a small audience so everyone can see the fantastic pictures.
