I enjoyed this book just fine but I felt like it was a bit predictable and there is NO way that a woman going into hospital after a car accident wouldn’t be tested for pregnancy. The hospital can’t just miss that - that made no real sense. Some of it was a little far fetched and there was a good bit of plot armour here.

But I still enjoyed it and read it pretty quickly!

Shelley lives happily with her mum and grandma but that all changes when her mum's abusive boyfriend, Mick moves in.  Shelley moves out at 18, makes a life for herself as a barmaid then landlady. A few years later she meets David, they get married and unfortunately history repeats itself.
It was a hard read at times but I also couldn't wait to read on - finishing it in 2 days.
