I didn't understand much of it. It was probably my fault I didn't enjoy it, not Joyce's. I did enjoy the Hell sermon. Try again when I'm less distracted.

As much as the character of Stephen is carefully crafted after Joyce himself, I think this warrants reading for the language alone. Some of the most beautiful prose I have ever come across.
