This is a fine example of why I enjoy mafia romances. Almost every scenario can be inputted into daily life, just more violent and dramatic. It's almost healing to read something that can be rewritten from your own past, and it ends up different. Or violent to match your inner turmoil. Anyway 🙂 good book!

With all that being said, I can't shake the feeling that I've read parts of this book before. I know that a lot of things are recycled, obviously. But not like this. And I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I LOVE a forbidden body guard trope. My only complaint is that I needed him to become hardcore obsessed with her SO MUCH earlier. And more spice please and thanks. But I gobbled this one up!! I am continuously obsessed with this series.

The way that he took touch her and die literally…I am HERE for it. Obsessed. And he worshipped her. PERIOD. That’s all
