Ravenna ends up being forced to marry a man she hates to settle a debt her younger brother took on. To keep her mother and brother safe, she marries the abusive and impotent Rocco, (pos) and when Az finds out the truth of their relationship his vengeance against her because of what Rocco did 8 years ago, changes. Anyway, they do end up getting together but not before Rocco finds out...I should mention that during this time that Az is Ravi's bodyguard, and he makes sure that Rocco is involved in several accidents and losses, lol. However, the ending, when he comes back for her? Mannnnnnnn Az is all about that life. He tortured the hell out of him, lol. It was so funny. He so had it coming. Loved it!! The epilogue with Sergei and Felix is priceless, which leads to the next book...Kai, I've been waiting on his story since Sergei's book.

Ravenna is such a beautiful name, for not only a beautiful FMC, but a strong survivor such as this woman. I adored seeing her find the light at the end of the darkness. And having Alessandro find his own light along side her was magical. I hurt for both of them so much at times, but knew they were meant for each other. ´
