I went into this book knowing full well that Jack Morgan was going to steal my heart and steal my heart he did. This man did not come to play, he came to consume my thoughts. Reading 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙠𝙚 was truly such a joy. It was everything I could’ve wanted and more. Jack is downright dreamy and so wholly and completely committed to Kendra, it had me smiling nonstop. I basically spent the entirety of my time reading this book gushing over all of Jack + Kendra’s cuteness. I loved them so much. I especially loved the moments between Jon Morgan and Jack. Seeing Jon as a father figure to Jack is the actual sweetest thing ever. Safe to say I already adore 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 series and cannot wait for what’s to come next!

I am truly speechless, I don’t think there’s anything Ruth can write that I will not fall absolutely head over heels in love with! 

The characters and universes she creates for us are so incredibly special. I was so emotionally attached to the Seattle Scorpions and was so nervous to leave the comfort of them for a new series, but the way Ruth interweaved the two worlds was perfection. The cameos from all our Scorpion boys, and Coach Jon was SOOOO good, I was screaming! She also set the stage perfectly with the new friend group in the Blade Kings and I am FERAL knowing we will get all their stories!! 

Now onto Jack and Kendra… ENDGAME, that is what they always were. There was no universe where they didn’t end up together. I am a huge fan of “it’s always been you” and Jack embodied this trope perfectly. The way he waited for Kendra through all the years was a man OBSESSED! And the spice was spicinggggg with these two!!! (There’s a truck scene and an elevator scene and yall are not ready).

Ruth has this ability to not only write the swooniest and most perfect men; but also the most lovable and down to earth FMC! I loved Kendra so much, and it was so fun to see the future books be set up for all the girls in her friend group. I cannot wait for all the books to come!

Starting his career in the NHL, Jack Morgan absolutely shouldn't be fake dating his rival team mates ex-girlfriend. But after pining for her for four years, he just can't help himself and jump in heart first. 
Kendra is determined to have some fun after finally dumping her sad excuse of a boyfriend. But that bit of fun turns into more so quickly, her head can hardly catch up with what her heart knew all along.

I was so excited for this next gen hockey romance. I loved the little glimpses we got at Jack in "Ruled Out" and ooooh my gawd he didn't disappoint. Their dynamic is dynamite!!! Though there are lots of obstacles in their way, they make their relationship work with mutual understanding and support for each other. 
I love this first book in Ruth Stilling's new series and can't wait for what's to come 🥰

Perfect Deke is the first book in the Blade Kings series and it is lovely! He has been kind of pining for years and secretely been interested in her for as long, she has never truly noticed him, but they hit it off perfectly from the start.

Jack is just perfect. I loved him deeply. He knows what he wants and goes for it whilst being the greenest flag out there. The way he respected Kendra’s feeling was just so nice. Might have become my favourite out of all Ruth’s mmcs.

Kendra is such a relatable character. Coming out of a rough relationship is never easy, but living with Jack surely made it more enjoyable for her. I loved her journey to rediscovering herself.

I devoured this book and loved it so much. It was such a good fake relationship one and the characters had such good chemistry, it all fell into place perfectly. I could not recommend it more and I cannot wait for Sawyer’s book!

Ate this book up like it was my job!  Jack is and has been obsessed with Kendra, pining over her for years, so when he sees a way to help her out, he does not hesitate to jump in and invite her to be his roommate.  And we all know what happens from there!  And then add in some fake dating and we are DONE FOR!  Jack is determined to show Kendra how she should be treated by a man and he certainly delivers!  Plus he calls her Kitten and I melted a bit - it's slowly becoming a favorite nickname of mine!

Move over Jon Morgan - there’s a new guy wearing your name in town!

When I first saw there was going to be a book about Felicity’s son I was a bit dubious as it felt a bit weird reading about the boy I’d seen grow into a man but I am so glad Ruth wrote it - we needed Jack Morgan in our lives 

He’s the perfect split of golden retriever, would burn the world for you and a dirty mouthed ‘sex god’ (Kendras words not mine) and I loved watching him patiently wait for Kendra to realise just how easy it was to be loved

I cannot wait for Sawyers book, once again I’m sucked into Ruth’s world and I’m not even sorry
