This book is a total page-turner. It’s lighthearted, sweet, and full of tension in all the best ways. If you’re a fan of sports romance with a side of slow-burn chemistry and flirty rivalry, this one is a must-read!

I need everyone to drop what they are reading and start reading Perfect Deke, and maybe all Ruth’s other stories while at it. She really knows how to reel you in with her stories and make you completely obsessed. This is book 1 in a brand new series but you have already seen Jack as Felicity’s son from book 1 of the previous series.
Jack is book boyfriend GOALS! This man loves hard and I was there for every minute of it. Jack has been obsessed with Kendra since college, the only problem is: she has been dating his college rival. When Kendra finally ends things with him, Jack is ready to swoop in. He is not going to let the fact that they are teammates get in the way of winning Kendra’s heart.
What starts as a little fake dating turns into Jack showing Kendra how she should have been treated this entire time. Jack is the man whose charm is intoxicating but brings out the FILTHIEST mouth in the bedroom. Jack and Kendra’s banter was so refreshing. From scones, to arguing over soccer vs football they really had a fun dynamic between them and also a lot of chemistry.
This was just the start to the series and all these characters but I am so excited to see what is to come next!
