This is a pretty good book there were just some things left unanswered. There is nothing that annoys me more than things left hanging. Also the 9/11 part was really good and realistic but it makes no sense to me that Anna would be able to work so well and think so clearly after such a tragic event. The story was good except for that. I think 9/11 was just a ploy to make the plan in this book work right. I did like the characters and the mystery. I like that from the beginning you knew who it was but there was still things to figure out. i dont know if I'll read this book again but I'm glad I read it once.
this was my first jeffrey archer book... had to read it before i did his author tour.... :) i enjoyed it and i've heard this is good but it isn't one of his best and that i should read his earlier ones... i'm going to make time for sure...
With False Impression, Archer sticks to his style of writing a thrilling page turner. A quick read and a solid storyline. I did find some plot lines predictable but that doesn't mean it wasn't a fun book. It had the right amount of impressionist art history to be informative, but not enough for me to get bored of reading about Van Gogh or Monet. Reads like a Dan Brown thriller, but with an appropriate dash of the author's 'British-ness'.

Just Ok. I figured out one of the "twists" well before it occurred. The bad gal was pretty inventive but her demise was out of character.
I'm quickly starting to realize Jeffrey Archer might be one of my favorite authors. His characters feel so real, it makes the reader feel connected to them and their story. He also has an amazing writing style.
