I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I have given Catwalk Fail by Jason Godfrey three out of five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

This book follows a male model, Colin Bryce Hamilton, who is living the ultimate modelling dream. However, at the beginning of the book Colin suffers from a sexual encounter with a female model which leaves him with an injury which really knocks his confidence. This book follows his journey of redeeming himself, whilst trying to come to terms with the fact that his younger sister, Jasmine, wants to become a successful model. As Colin has been in the modelling industry for years, he knows what happens and how people act so there’s no surprise when the over-protective brother mode comes into play.

I thought this book, which was inspired by experiences of a career model, was very entertaining and fun to read. Filled with a lot of drama and what I can expect the modelling world to sometimes be like, this book had many laugh out loud and cringe-worthy moments.

I liked the relationship which is formed between Colin and Taylor, but I wish there had been more moments between the two as I didn’t receive as strong of a connection for them together than I could have done. I really liked Godfrey’s writing style; full of humour and easy to keep the reader entertained due to the events which unravel in the book.

Although this book was easy to read, I didn’t find the story line very captivating. There wasn’t anything I felt captivated by in this book to push my star rating past 3 stars, I enjoyed it nonetheless.
