Dial A for Aunties is so funny, and I liked it. It was entertaining, and the writing was easy to follow. The descriptions were vivid enough to feel like I was there with Meddy and her aunts. The characters were written well, and I felt like I could relate to the family dynamic. Finally, the plot twists were insane and just kept on coming. The only downside was that I felt like everything was rushed, and the ending felt a bit incomplete, but I hope it gets fully resolved in the second book.

Do not go into this book with realistic expectations. I really went into it with zero expectations and not knowing much about it, which is how I prefer to read. And I was pleasantly surprised by how much I laughed and couldn't stop reading to see what happens next. Is it absurd and unrealistic? Absolutely!! Personally, I think this book is pure campy goodness. Enjoy it for the wild, hilarious ride it is and don't take it too seriously! A blast of a time, embrace the chaos!!

This book was stressful, anxiety-inducing, funny, and chaotic all at once. Every time I thought I knew how this story would end - it took a funny or ridiculous turn.

A quick, fun read. Not my usual type of book but I enjoyed it overall. Nathan and Meddie are cute and I  enjoyed getting to learn their story - I honestly would have loved to learn more.

Looking forward to reading the next book!

i enjoyed this less than i thouight i woild, but i think it’s mainly bc i made an incorrect assumption about what it was gonna be - i was expecting some sort of cozy mystery where the aunts solve mysteries and instead it was them helping the main character hide a body, which i would’ve known if i’d done like any proper research haha

i was quite stressed through the whole thing, but the humour helped, as did the reveal at the end of
the lesbians

This was hilarious. I never quite knew where the story was going to go next, but I loved Medellin and the Aunties. My one complaint is that Nathan didn't seem that developed as a character. In general, there were a lot of coincidences that seemed to exist just so the story could move forward. But still, I highly recommend, and I look forward to the screen adaptation.
