4.75 — This book was giving Caraval for adults with depression/anxiety and I loved it so much.

Started off really good and then got progressively more confusing, dnf at 50% with no intention of picking it up again

This book is basically just Francesca by Hozier. So it’s beautiful and heartbreaking and heart warming all at once. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the dialogue got pretty tedious. The endless back and forth between all the characters without really getting anywhere story wise was charming for a bit but after a while I got tired of it. It would have been better in an audio or visual setting I think. But over all I liked it and would definitely recommend it
