I had low expectations going into this book because heist books don't impress me. I found myself laughing at the antics the Wedding Crew got in. The characters were a highlight for me more than the heist and romance, all unique with their quirks. Simi's accidental oversharing was alright at the beginning, but I appreciate she finds a shiner spine as the book progresses. The romance is okay
because Jack sweeps Simi off her feet, yet seems to be missing in situations where he should be there, like heist meetings, and for what
? I liked this book more than I expected and might pick up the sequel.

I kept getting annoyed at how dumb it is, and it was not giving the Feels at all. This is not why I read Romance.

The plot was too silly for me. I kept reading because I have enjoyed other books by this author, but I really should have stopped earlier on. This book was just not for me. The humor was too slapstick and I didn't care for the characters.

I was excited for the desi representation in what seemed like it might be a spy novel but the representation was very much token in this book. Also it was not a spy novel at all. The fMC was incredibly annoying and seemed stupid for having 0 filter constantly. Also she only saw guys as want to fuck or douches what’s w the objectifying here. Also why was she such a self victimizing person the author could’ve shown her being neglected but instead it was all her saying poor me I was neglected. Some bits in the middle were funny other than that this book was a mishmash of unrelatable characters and bad writing.
