This is one of the most heart-wrenching books I have ever read, somehow both devastating and live-giving. Kate shares eye-opening insight into the world of Scientology and the experience of growing up trans in her time and I am in awe of her courage in sharing stories so deeply honest, personal, and wholly human.
Definitely read the content warnings before reading - it is intensely graphic.
