It's no secret- if you are a foreigner who reached out for this book, chances are you are one of those who already saw adventures of BrightWin and you had a clear image of Sarawat and Tine. Now, 2gether was like 3rd BL that I ever saw. Was I crazy about the storyline? Honestly- no. Was I crazy for Sarawat? Well, I mean yes dude got me on 1st like "kiss you until you drop" I was a bit crazier about Bright (I'll admit). I always liked that Sarawat and Tine have a rare healthy relationship (I saw the show after TharnType many things look healthy after that give me a break). What was then a reason I reached for the book? Unlike Still 2gether where P'Aof actually provided a quality storyline from the beginning until the end, P'Champ failed to do this with 2gether. I didn't have a nice closure and it felt like a huge part is missing. I was right.
Did I like the book? Sure, I liked this book. Here is what I liked:
-I had a complete story, and holes that I had after-show were filled.
-Tine with flaws. Though I wholeheartedly can say that Win is the heart and soul of Tine, this Tine is no a saint and Mr. perfect, he is a real boy and I liked that about him a lot.
-Sarawat and Tine's love. In the whole drama, the only "I love you" we hear is when Sarawat is in panic and desperate. In the book they actually express feelings, saying I love you and calling each other lovers.
-Great ending. Awkward high five trauma healed after this.
-POV change. I liked how we could actually see the parts from Sarawat's POV. You get to see how passionate he is with Tine.
What I didn't like:
-This relationship is low key toxic. It's not the worst thing ever. But from time to time I had massive problems with both of them and how they see this relationship.
-"The night". Oh god. I liked that you actually have realistic parts it's not like a beautiful romantic and everything is perfect. I appreciate that it can be painful and awkward ...but this night is from Sarawats pov, and half of the night Tine is crying. Sarwat doing for the second time was...worse. I know that he loves Tine and he craves him at all times but Jesus christ that night didn't sit right with me.
-Better development of the plot (I needed). Listen, it's cute, boy meets boy and fall for him searched for him found him...but it just went without heat something to keep me on the edge of my seat.
-Sarawat. The main difference between this (og) version and Bright's version was the fact that at all times I wanted Sarawat (boy or a girl Sarawat). Not this time. Sarawat had little to no personality, I still didn't know much about him...But that being said Bright was such a perfect choice liking Sarawat helped because I had his face and his voice inside my head while reding.
-"A wife". Hear me out I have a massive problem when top calls bottom his wife in bl period (except when Singto says, in that voice, he is allowed). But the entire second part Tine is referred to as Sarawat's wife and I wasn't having it.
Overall: it was nice to book for relaxing and chilling. Easy read and it was nice to have the entire story. That been said I think that it lacks development and depth in it and a bit more of queer education (this comes from bisexual so don't go at me). Also, lack of Man and Type was criminal, I mean they were the thing that kept my mood up in 2gether. If you are a fan of the drama I strongly recommend reading this you will get closure. I recommend listening to every song mentioned in the book, it's a great soundtrack.

Okay, the moment of truth!
Honestly, Idk. Idk how to rate this book.
1. I love how much Sarawat loves Tine.
2. I love they way Tine fell in love with Wat.
3. I think BrightWin played WatTine well and I'm so so so thankful that they decided to change it up a bit for the series.
4. I do think the series could've put more of the WatTine moments from the novel.
And LAST!
5. I HATE CHAPTER 21. Chapter 21 should be deleted.
I annotated the book and from Chapter 1 until Chapter 20, my book is full of green & blue highlights which is "ahhhhhh I love this!" but as soon as it's Chapter 21, it's all red which is = what the fck is this

Entretenido (hasta cierto punto) pero me quedo con la serie.
Clichés de relaciones gays, una escena explícita que se acerca más a la violaci0n, personajes bastante pesados en general.

i watched the series. it was very lovely and cute so i decided to read the novel as well and - oh my god - words cannot express how bad it is. the writing is incredibly bad and it hurts to read it. it is so cheap and reads itself as a fanfiction written by a 13 year old who has no idea what they’re actually writing about.
red flags everywhere. sarawat was in the series a cute person that does not really know how to express his feelings in a comfortable way. in the novel, sarawat is toxic as hell. he threatens tine, and even tho tine does pick it up later and handles it, it does not change the fact that tine was literally afraid of him from time to time. also sarawat mentioning that he wants to hurt tine until he is satisfied? that is not romantic, that is terrifying and absolutely not okay. it would’ve been fine if sarawats behavior was portrayed as problematic and the novel is about that problematic side of his but it isn’t. it’s being romanticized.
not to forget that sarawat keeps overstepping boundaries when he is kissing tine who does not want it (at least for the first one but he does not care about how tine feels with this anyways) up to rape when they’re having non-consentual sex. drug abuse, manipulation is a topic as well, which is portrayed as non problematic.
also the story line is so slow, i got bored because nothing at all is happening. there is no interesting plot to follow, changes are coming incredibly slow.
this was no fun to read. worst read so far.

Graphic: Rape
Read this after binging the tv series. Y'all the show did not include the sex scene and I think I'd seen it mentioned before but was still unprepared as we barely get onscreen kisses in the show. Was real happy with how much more is in the books.
