Good storyline and it’s fun to listen to Apollo’s tangets! It is a bit jarring to go from Heroes of Olympus to this one, but enjoyable, nonetheless!

This was amazing! Such a great start to the series that I clicked with immediately. I felt much more initially connected to the story than The Lost Hero (and Lost Hero was still super enjoyable!). I love Lester and I loved his progression throughout, his development really motivates you to read.

The line, “‘I don’t like being kept in the dark,’ he (Nico) muttered.
An odd complaint for a child of Hades” broke my heart. I read this book in a few days and with my fresh memory that was the line that stuck with me most. Ow.

I loved the focus on the campers and the expansion of the side characters! That was fun to see. Overall, loved this instalment in the series so much.
