Collects the second half of Faith (2016) Vol 2, issues #9-12
Covers Faith going up against a less-than-competent villian team-up 'the Faithless' (featuring an evil cat). Pretty much the same vibes as the earlier Faith (2016) volumes. She's a great character, but this solo series isn't the most exciting.

A mostly pretty ok volume of Faith! Her naïveté only bugs in one scene, really, and the pop culture refs are pretty limited, or at least slightly more organic.
BUT. Joe Eisma's honestly one of the worst artists in comics today. He has no handle on perspective or how to make figures not look horribly stiff, and his faces are all just awful.

This was a satisfying conclusion to an inconsistent series.
I wish there were more superhero stories featuring women who weren't created and drawn by lonely and/or creepy men so that I could compare Faith to those. But there aren't many I can come up with off the top of my head. And while this wasn't close to the best superhero series I've read recently, it was mostly good with just a little bit of filler.
In this volume, we see several of Faith's previous foils teamed up to stop her but seeming to fray at the seams, as they all have different agendas.
Like most of the storyarcs in this series, it's meta-commentary on superhero tropes. It's executed well, but isn't very surprising.
I guess I would say, as a whole, this series was kind of like comfort food reading. I don't think it's ever going to surprise you, blow your mind, or change the way you think about anything. But it's entertaining, and may make you smile a few times during the read.

I liked this volume better than the last. But I do wish that the story arc was a little longer (here and in previous) - the conclusion seemed a little rushed.

Probably my favorite volume. I really enjoyed the Faithless, and Dark Star is too cute.

The name "The Faithless" is fantastic, I do have to admit.
Still loving Faith. I wish each volume was a little longer.
