I loved this story as a child and was so excited to find it and read it again!

This is a great coming of age story about a young witch who struggles with finding out how her 'witch power' works in compared to her two perfect sisters. She meets a friend/ghost who helps and encourages her to try and to believe in herself, which is a great message for young readers about not to compare oneself/one's journey to others.

I found this book in an antique shop a few months back and have had it on a shelf since. It really fits my gothic vibe that I have in my room, but I hadn't read it until now. And oh boy it about brought me to tears!

The message of the book is to believe in yourself over bullies and it does such a good job of doing it! It's so cute and sweet and I can't wait to read it to my kids someday!

Cute children's book. Nothing that stands the test of time, but wasn't a bad read for my son and the illustrations are adorable.

A cute beginning book for new readers. Wendy is a witch with 2 bossy older sister. She feels small in their presence. She loses her broom and has to stay home for Halloween. A brave boy named Roger meets her and invites her home where she finds her own inner magic and power. She teaches her sisters a little something and then she is no longer afraid of witches.

Not a bad story and the message of finding how our own power works compared to others is an important message. It’s a cute story

I LOVE this story! I used to practice the spells in it when I was a child. It holds a special place in my heart.
